Sjarmere Chains ~ Handcrafted Jewelry ~ VANDA inspired

Sjarmere Chains

“Å sjarmere” means “to charm” in Bokmál (Norwegian). The name Sjarmere (pronounced: shar-mare-ah) refers to the potential to customize these sterling silver chains with interchangeable charms. From minimalist to maximalist, up your style game with jewelry that represents you.

This chain design is based on one of the first pieces I made in jewelry school. Even after having made stone settings, pendants, and rings, that simple yet elegant chain got some of the most enthusiastic responses from friends and family. And, it's still one of my favorite daily pieces.

Necklaces, bracelets, anklets – Sjarmere chains come in a variety of lengths. Due to their handcrafted nature, chains may be up to ¼-inch longer or shorter than the approximate stated length and likely have slight variations making each piece even more unique.

Handcrafted in my California studio, Sjarmere chains are made from mostly recycled sterling silver. I carefully form every twisted link, solder each jump ring closed for strength and durability, then finish by polishing to a high shine. The lobster claw clasps have a steel spring inside for a secure hold. Links are made in advance, but chains are assembled and soldered to order.
